The
Aberdeen Branch is still going strong. We have had our share of the “dreaded
lergies” over the winter months but are on the up now that summer is here.
Seven of us went to Banchory for lunch in May and had a
very pleasant day weather wise and wine wise, though if the truth be told we
nearly didn’t make it. This was because yours truly had us all waiting at
the wrong bus stop! The sight of seven ladies frantically waving aloft their
bus passes thankfully brought the bus to a halt. I, of course, told my
companions that the adrenalin rush was good for them.
The Veterans Parade is on in June and some of
our members, I have no doubt, will be taking part. We wish all Branches good
luck and good health. |
